Our Story
Nixon & Co Interiors was founded by James and Courtney Nixon, a couple whose shared love of property, design, and business began in 2016 when they met working at Rightmove.
In 2020, they moved into their first home together—a space Courtney lovingly transformed into a calm and functional sanctuary. While building her sales career, she began studying interior design and helping friends and family with their homes. What started as a passion project soon grew into a new career path.
With James’ encouragement, they launched Nixon & Co Interiors in December 2021. Since then, their business—and their partnership—has flourished. In September 2024, James and Courtney tied the knot, making their growing business a true family affair.
Blending Courtney’s design expertise with James’ strategic mindset, Nixon & Co has become a boutique interior design studio known for creating spaces that are as functional as they are beautiful. Behind the scenes is a trusted team of family and friends: a site and trades coordinator dad, a creative mum with a flair for upcycling, and a circle of experts who share their passion.
At its heart, Nixon & Co exists to make life easier—and more beautiful—one space at a time.
