Our Story
Nixon & Co Interiors grew from a shared love of property and a belief that a well-designed home can make everyday life feel easier.
Courtney and James met while working at Rightmove in 2016. When they moved into their first home together in 2019, Courtney loved the process of making it feel calm, welcoming and right for the way they lived. It sparked a passion that grew alongside her career in sales management.
She began studying for a diploma in interior design and helping friends and family reimagine their homes.
With James’s encouragement, Courtney took the leap and launched Nixon & Co Interiors in December 2021.
The couple married in September 2024, and the studio remains a family affair. Courtney leads the design work, with support from James, her dad’s practical experience, her mum’s creative eye and a trusted network of skilled tradespeople.
Today, we create thoughtful, functional spaces shaped around the people who live in them. Every home is different, and that’s exactly how we believe it should be.
