Services
We offer interior design and property staging services (the “Services”). We do not guarantee, warrant or represent that the Services will be error free or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.

Certain products and services relied upon as part of our Services are from third-parties. This includes, but is not limited to, painters and decorators, electricians, carpenters and builders. Third-party links on this site or part of this Service are not affiliated with us. We are not responsible for examining or evaluating the content or accuracy and we do not warrant and will not have any liability or responsibility for any third-party materials or websites, or for any products or services of third-parties. We are not liable for any harm or damages related to the purchase or use of goods, services or any other transactions made in connection with any third-party. Please review carefully the third-party's policies and practices and make sure you understand them before we engage in any transaction. Complaints, claims, concerns, or questions regarding third-party products should be directed to the third-party.
Marketing
As part of our Service, we will take before, during and after photos of your design. Unless you ask not to, you agree for us to use such images on our website and social media platforms to show case our work. If you do not wish for your images to be displayed, please let us know.
Delivery
Delivery of our Services is approximate only and may be delayed due to delays outside of our control, including but not limited to, delays in third party products and services. We will endeavour to keep you informed of any delays. Time of delivery of Services is not of the essence.
Price and Payment
Prices of our Services are available on request. You can contact us using our Contact Form for more information.
Expenses: We are entitled to charge for any expenses reasonably incurred in connection with the Services including, but not limited to, travelling costs, hotel costs and costs required by the supplier for the performance of the Services. Travel to client’s home which is more than 30 miles from our registered office will be charged at 30p per mile.
Invoice: We shall invoice you for our Services at the following times:
Mood Boards: A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the cost is required upfront. The final 50% is to be paid on completion of the Service.
Design and Complete Solution: A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the cost is required upfront. The final 50% is to be paid on completion of the Service.
Property Staging: 100% of the cost to be paid upfront.
Third party costs: Price of our Services does not include prices of third-party products and services. All third-party products and services will be invoiced and charged separately and will be payable before instructing them or ordering any products. You will pay each third-party tradesman directly for their service. You will pay us for any third party product costs before we purchase the goods on your behalf. We will not be held liable for any overrun of works or delays by any third-party suppliers.
Payment date: You shall pay each invoice within 14 days of the date of the invoice by way of bank transfer to the account details stated on the invoice.
Termination
You have the right terminate this Service at any time. On termination you will be responsible for any third-party goods or services which may have already been engaged as part of the Service. We will provide you with any goods which you have paid for. If you wish to cancel any third-party services, you will be responsible for any cancellation fees and any outstanding money owed.
Goods
In addition to our Services, we offer a range of products available to purchase (the “Goods”). For a list of all the Goods available for purchase, please visit our shop here.
Pictures of the Goods on our website are for illustrative purposes only. We endeavour to ensure that colours and sizes are displayed accurately but we do not guarantee that the display of colours and shapes exactly reflects those of the Goods.
Order
Orders can be placed through our website. Once you have added the Good(s) you would like to your basket, you will go through to our checkout page where you will need to enter your contact details, delivery and payment information. Please check all details before completing your order.
Once you have placed your order, you should receive an acknowledgement e-mail confirming receipt of your order. Your order is not confirmed until you receive this email. When we acknowledge your order, we will also provide you with your order number. If you need to contact us about your order, you should quote this number. Orders may be cancelled if delivery has not yet been arranged. If delivery of your Goods has already been arranged, you must follow our returns process.
You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to use the payment method which you use to pay for the Goods you order.
All orders are subject to availability.
All Goods remain our property until full payment of the purchase price is received by us.
If we are unable to fulfil your order (e.g. (without limitation) because the product is out of stock,) we will let you know by email and will not charge you for the Goods.
Price and payment
Price of the Goods include VAT(where applicable). Delivery costs will be charged in addition to the cost of the Goods. The delivery charges depend on the weight and size of the Goods and will be clearly shown during the checkout process.
We may change the price of some of our Goods from time to time. When this happens, we will update the prices on our website. If you placed an order before the price change, the price will be as stated on our website at the time when you placed your order.
Before we accept orders, we check that all Goods are correctly priced. In the unlikely event a product is mispriced and the correct price at your order date is less than our stated price at your order date, we will charge the lower amount. If we accept your order where a pricing error is obvious and unmistakeable, we reserve the right to end the contract, refund you any sums you have paid and require the return of the Goods.
We use Stripe as our payment processing platform. We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, American Express and ApplePay.
Delivery
Delivery available in England only.
Delivery times are approximate only and may be delayed due reasons outside of our control, including but not limited to, delays in third party services. We will endeavour to keep you informed of any delays. Time of delivery of the Goods is not of the essence.
Returns
We are happy to accept returns of unused Goods within 28 days of the item being delivered to you. Delivery costs are non-refundable.
To make a return, email us at orders@nixonandco.co.uk stating which item(s) you would like to return, and we will confirm whether the Goods should be returned as a small return or a large return.
For small returns:
· We shall provide the address to return the unwanted Goods to.
· Safely re-package the returning unwanted Goods and send to the address provided. We recommend you return the unwanted Goods in the packaging we sent them in.
· Include the invoice for your purchase inside the parcel.
· Return the unwanted Goods using only a secure or trackable method i.e. Recorded/Special Delivery and ensure you retain your proof of postage. In the event of a lost parcel, we will need a tracking number and proof of postage to process a return. Failure to provide these will mean you will not receive your refund.
· Await our email to confirm safe receipt of the returned Goods.
For large returns (e.g. armchairs, sofas, coffee tables):
· Please contact orders@nixonandco.co.uk.
· We shall arrange with you a suitable time for a courier to collect the Goods.
· We are entitled to deduct the courier costs for picking up your returned Goods from the amount owed to you.
Until we receive the returned unwanted Goods, the item(s) and their condition remain your responsibility. We aim to refund you within 28 days of receiving the returned item. We will give you a full refund by way of the original payment method.
Faulty Returns
Please contact orders@nixonandco.co.uk if your order is faulty. Please include your name, order number, details of the fault and any images to show the fault to organise a faulty return. Faulty items will be refunded or replaced, subject to availability, once the faulty Goods have been returned and inspected by us. We shall reimburse the cost to return the faulty Goods and replace the Goods if requested, subject to availability.
If you are looking to return a faulty item but it has passed 28 days since your purchase date, we cannot replace or refund your purchase unless you can show proof it was faulty when received.
Our liability
If we fail to comply with these terms and we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of the breach of these terms or negligence. Our total liability in contract, tort (including negligence) or breach of statutory duty, misrepresentation, restitution or otherwise, arising in connection with the performance or contemplated performance of the Services shall be limited to 100% of the amount paid at the time of your claim.
However, we are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not reasonably foreseeable. Loss or damage is reasonably foreseeable if it is an obvious consequence of a breach or if it would reasonably be contemplated by us at the time of your purchase. We are not responsible for any liability of any third party used as part of our Services.
We supply products for private use. You agree not to use any product for commercial or re-sale purposes and we have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.
We, do not exclude or limit our liability for:
1. death or personal injury resulting from negligence;
2. fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
3. any liability which cannot legally be limited or excluded.
Events outside our control
We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a contract that is caused by events outside our reasonable control. In these terms, we refer to those events as an “Force Majure Event”.
A Force Majure Event includes, but is not limited to, any act, event, omission or accident beyond both our reasonable control or the reasonable control such as:
1. epidemics and pandemics;
2. strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action;
civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war;
fire, explosion, storm, flood, extreme snow, ice, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster;
impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport;
impossibility of the use of public or private telecommunications networks;
the acts, decrees, legislation, regulations or restrictions of any government; or
non-performance by suppliers or subcontractors.
Waiver
If we fail to insist that you perform any of your obligations under these terms and conditions, or if we do not enforce our rights against you, or delay in doing so, that will not mean that we have waived our rights against you or that you do not have to comply with those obligations. If we waive a default by you, this will only be done in writing, and will not mean that we will automatically waive any later default by you.
Severability
Each of the paragraphs of these terms and conditions operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement
These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the you and us and supersedes and extinguishes all previous agreements, promises, assurances and warranties whether oral or otherwise. The parties agree that they have not entered into these terms in reliance on any statement, representation, covenant, warranty, undertaking or understanding (whether innocently or negligently made) of any person (whether party to the contract or not) except as expressly set out in these terms. Nothing in this clause shall exclude any liability on the part of either party for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Assignment
We may transfer our rights and obligations under any contract with you to another organisation, but this will not affect your rights or our obligations under these terms and conditions. You may only transfer your rights or your obligations under these terms and conditions to another person if we agree in writing.
Variation
We have the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time. Those changes will not take effect to existing contracts or retrospectively, meaning that if you have placed an order which is subject to our terms and conditions, that contract will continue unaffected, but any order placed after the date of newly published terms will be subject to those new terms. Any changes we make to these terms and conditions will be posted on this page. You will be subject to the policies and terms and conditions in force at the time that you order, unless any change to those policies or these terms and conditions is required to be made by law or governmental authority.
Third party rights
No one other than a party to these terms and conditions shall have any rights under or in connection with these terms and conditions by virtue of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by English law submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
